A friend and I decided to go on Matts coaching trip to Spain in March neither of us had played much during the winter so we thought it would be a great way to sharpen up our games and get some early sun at the start of the season. Booking to arrival was really easy and the venue Matt chose was great. On arrival we grabbed something to eat then decided to head to the short game area the others in the group who we didn’t know but became real good friends and who’s company was great on and off the course also joined us for a chip & putt. Matt come over and ended up giving us all a un scheduled putting clinic and this seriously became the norm because Matt was constantly going above and beyond helping and advising all of us on our games away from the planned schedule. We went on to have 3 rounds at the resort where Matt would join each group for 6 holes giving us on course advice and being able to give real solid lessons on the range after seeing our games and videoing our swings in a natural non range environment. Matt also had loads of training aids and his trackman when coaching. Across the week we covered all aspects from the full swing to putting and the short game session was brilliant full of seriousness and laughter all rolled into one! Relaxed, chilling in the sun pitching and chipping does it get any better? Matt was always happy to answer any questions or take another look at your progress at anytime even over a pint in the evening if your not singing along with the evening entertainment that is! Matt sent us all multiple voice over videos of before and after the changes we had made which was a nice touch. In my mind this was the perfect golf trip, golfing by day food and beer by night! great company, great courses ,hospitality and great coaching from a experienced tour pro! I genuinely couldn’t recommend Matts coaching or trips enough! Thanks for a great time Matt 👍
